Secretly, I was in the back sniffing the hardy carnation flowers and delighting in their sweet enveloping fragrance. The white were my favorite.

Carnation bouquets are easy to make if you decide to do it yourself. Just group some carnations, for example 25 to 12 for the bride and bridesmaids. Make sure all heads are even and wrap with floral tape, 2 or 3 at a time until you get a solid mass of flowers. Garnish with green ribbon and bouquets for your conclusion.

Carnation boutonnieres and corsages have many advantages. They are very strong, and do not break easily. They can tolerate more hugs than roses or daisies without breaking or shattering. They are easy to work and have no wires, so they are easier to work than roses. Finally, they take a long time as compared with another type of flour from the water and they are much less expensive than any other type of flour.
